The 11th IUPS/ADI Workshop
for
PHYSIOLOGY EDUCATION
14 – 16 September 2025 I Evangelische Tagungsstätte, Löwenstein, Germany
Evangelische Tagungsstätte, Löwenstein, Germany
Program
A committee of local, regional and international members are organizing the event, and internationally recognized keynote speakers/facilitators have agreed to attend the workshop.
The program will be held over two days, including plenary sessions and parallel break-out workshop sessions, which would have multiple topics at the same time, giving participants a choice to attend any one of the workshops. Tentative topics and a program are given below, however, a needs assessment is currently underway, requesting regional physiology and basic science departments what should be the priority of topics for a regional teaching workshop, and subject experts volunteering to facilitate sessions.
Topics
PLENARY SESSIONS
Large language models, machine learning and generative AI
Flipped classrooms
Engaging students in our teaching
PARALLEL WORKSHOPS
Designing problems to introduce core curriculum in physiology
